Association of Change Management Professionals® Announces 2026 Global Change Excellence Award Winners
WASHINGTON, DC, UNITED STATES, September 18, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Association of Change Management Professionals® (ACMP®) has announced the five recipients of the 2026 ACMP Global Change Excellence Awards, concluding a weeklong celebration of outstanding achievement in change management.
Now in their second year, the annual awards recognize individuals and organizations whose work demonstrates the value and impact of effective change management. The awards are method-agnostic, recognizing excellence regardless of the specific change management methodology or approach used. This year’s program reflected ACMP’s international community, with nominations representing countries including Australia, Canada, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and United States.
The 2026 ACMP Global Change Excellence Award recipients are:
• ACMP Volunteer of the Year: William “Wagz” Wagner
• Change for Good Award: First Ukrainian International Bank
• Change Management Organization of the Year: The Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group
• Trailblazer in Change Management Award: April Callis-Birchmeier
• Best Change Campaign Award: Troy Edelen
“These awards are important because they give ACMP an opportunity to recognize what excellence in change management looks like in practice,” said Deshini Newman, CEO of ACMP. “Across this year’s nominations, we saw people and organizations engaging communities, building organizational change capability, introducing new ideas and delivering meaningful results. By sharing and celebrating their accomplishments, we not only recognize exceptional work—we help demonstrate the value our profession brings to organizations and communities around the world.”
Award recipients were selected through a structured review process conducted by ACMP’s Awards Review Task Force, a group of certified change management professionals who evaluated nominations against established criteria. Reviewers considered factors including leadership and vision, people and stakeholder engagement, innovation, and demonstrated results and impact.
“Change professionals frequently do their work behind the scenes, helping others successfully navigate transformation and achieve results,” said Rich Batchelor, MCMP™, President of the ACMP Board of Directors. “The Global Change Excellence Awards put that work in the spotlight. This year’s recipients demonstrate the breadth of our profession—from individual leadership and volunteer service to organizational capability, social impact and exceptional change initiatives. Their accomplishments set examples that can inspire change professionals everywhere.”
The five award recipients were announced individually on LinkedIn from September 14–18 through video presentations featuring Batchelor and Newman, along with acceptance remarks from the recipients.
The ACMP Global Change Excellence Awards are presented annually, and ACMP looks forward to continuing to grow the program and recognize outstanding contributions from across its global community. Change professionals are encouraged to begin thinking now about the individuals, organizations and initiatives whose work deserves recognition when nominations open for the 2027 ACMP Global Change Excellence Awards.
