Brainfuse has joined the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Qualified Vendor List for high-dosage literacy tutoring, giving districts access to live virtual reading support for K–5 students with Reading Success Plans.
A Reading Success Plan identifies where a student needs support. The next step is providing consistent instruction that focuses on those needs and helps the student develop stronger reading skills. Brainfuse combines experienced literacy tutors, evidence-based instruction, and ongoing progress monitoring to help districts put those plans into practice.

Turning Reading Success Plans Into Targeted Instruction
Brainfuse uses each student’s Reading Success Plan and available school data to identify the reading skills that need attention. Tutors focus sessions on those areas and adjust instruction as the student progresses.
Depending on the student’s needs, tutoring may address foundational reading skills, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Instruction is grounded in structured literacy and evidence-based practices aligned with the Science of Reading.
Brainfuse literacy materials also align with the Missouri Learning Standards and are designed to reinforce classroom instruction. Teachers can share current lessons, reading materials, and areas of focus, helping tutors connect each session with what the student is learning during the school day.
Consistent Tutoring Led by Experienced Professionals
Programs will follow Missouri’s high-dosage literacy tutoring requirements, with sessions lasting at least 60 minutes and taking place at least twice each week. Students will work with experienced literacy tutors trained in structured literacy and evidence-based reading instruction.
Schools and districts receive reports on student participation and progress, giving educators a clear view of how students are engaging with tutoring and developing their reading skills.
